Details about agility classes:

Find details below on each of the classes that are currently offered (or will be soon).  If you are not sure about which class you and your dog belong in, visit our contact page to send us a note requesting more information.

Beginning Agility Foundations:  This class is for handler/dog teams that have never done any agility training, or it has been some time since they have taken a beginning agility class.  It is not required, but helpful for dogs to have a foundation in obedience training.

Advanced Beginner Agility:  This class is for handler/dog teams that have taken a beginner agility class and their dog has been exposed to some obstacles (not all obstacles are required).

Intermediate Agility:  Handler/dog teams in this class should have successfully completed classes through the Advanced Beginner level.  This class will begin to focus on handling and communication skills for the handler/dog team while also working to help them fine tune obstacle performance.

Advanced Handling:  Handler/dog teams in this class should either already be competing in agility, or ready to do so soon.  Dogs in this class should be able to successfully complete all agility obstacles.

Puppy Agility/Agility Foundations:  Handler/dog teams in this class will work on relationship and core training to set dogs on the right track to go on to successful agility competition.  This class will expose the dogs to some equipment, but will not have jumping or any full height equipment utilized.  Shadow handling, restrained recalls and structured tug and play will be just a few things of focus in this class.

Private Lessons

Driven Dog Training is also available for private, one on one agility training at our outdoor location in Lake Odessa, MI during the spring/summer/fall months.
